About Britney

Hi! I'm Britney and I'm dedicated to helping students grow into lifelong excel academically and build confidence in their abilities. I have over three cumulative years of experience advising students for academic success, with my experience tutoring children began as an employee of the New York Public Library, as an afterschool tutor. This role honed my skills in creating various engaging and effective learning strategies for honed individual for individual and group settings. I currently work as a Research Mentor for Graduate students at the City University of New York. While class is out of session, I hope to make positive connections and impacts with students of all ages. I began my college journey at the young age of 15, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for education and learning. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Urban Studies.
