About Brinn

I taught Art to grades K-8. Before I taught Art, I was a classroom aide that mostly worked with K-5. Moving classrooms and assisting students where I could, and then eventually I became a long-term substitute for Grade 4. I taught every subject besides Math, as they would go and see a separate teacher for that. My teaching approach was to create engaging lessons and help fill the gaps with students, creating environments where they felt confident to speak up and ask questions. I believe all children have individual learning needs, which can be met through open communication, setting clear goals, and being supportive.
