About Bri

Hi! My name is Bri, and I am a recent college graduate from the University of Michigan-Flint. I have had a wide variety of teaching mentorships at local school districts like Kearsley, Fenton, Lapeer, Southwestern, and Beecher. I currently work with middle and high school students as a virtual teacher and tutor at My Virtual Academy. I help students every day with different subjects like history, reading, electives, and more. I also have experience with working with children with special education requirements. Online learning has its challenges, and it is easy for students to feel discouraged or lost trying to understand content by themselves. Many kids also feel alone and isolated with online learning. My main priority is to help students with their work, but also give motivation and encouragement that they can finish the school year despite all this craziness! I can be flexible with my schedule, but due to my full time job I am unable to work weekday mornings.
