I have worked in both long-term care and home care since 2003. I love working with people and being able to provide care for those who can no longer care for themselves. I held a CNA certification from 2005 through 2015 and have continued to work in the home care setting since. I have experience working with seniors as well as working with developmentally disabled. I take pride in my work and providing the best care I can for my clients. Duties can include, but are not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, meal preparation, feeding, groceries/errands, staying active within the community, companionship, and medication administration and/or reminders.

We lived in Alaska while Bridgit took care of my husband’s parents, in their home, as their dementia progressed. They needed 24 hour care at home and then later, she helped transition them to advanced assisted living in a medical facility when the dementia became more advanced than what home care could provide. Bridgit was patient and even-tempered with them. She maintained a clean & safe environment for them and was quick to notify us when there was a problem we needed to address. My mother-in-law had many issues with her diabetes that required Bridget have knowledge with insulin and diet. It was difficult living so far away with parents that needed supervision but Bridgit made that experience less distressing for us. We were very thankful for Bridgit’s care.
