About Bridgette

I graduated on the Distinguished Achievement Program as a National Honor Society Member, Wind Ensemble flutist/piccoloist with decent SAT and ACT scores, and an AP Scholar with Honors (all done while dealing with trouble at home). I've always been the "take-charge" student. Explaining difficult concepts in simple terms comes with ease. I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge and a passion for learning. My high school didn't have a student-tutor program, so a large chunk of my experience is informal and/or from volunteer work. In my spare time, I'd volunteer at the local elementary school and help younger elementary-aged students. During music classes, I'd occasionally drop by and show the kids how a flute or piccolo worked: get them interested in music (playing an instrument stimulates the brain). In college, I took a job as a note taker/informal tutor and can comfortably say I helped many people make A's.
