Recently retired Nurse and new to Care. com seeking families needing trustworthy care for their children for occasional dates, weekends, overnights and vacations or to cover while seeking a full time nanny. This family would need a fit, active type with lots of experience as a mom herself. They need someone who will play, read, hike, exercise, do yoga, go to parks, color, cook, organize etc. The family may want to have care in their home or in mine where there are chickens, puppies and a big garden to play in and explore. The children may want their nanny to join them on vacation and she has a passport and travels well. With 36 years as a nurse and raising 4 children I can manage just about anything a family would need with grace, poise and compassion. Limitations: no cats-at all. Other pets and farm animals okay. I will pitch in with housework, homework & laundry as needed. Would consider sharing a FT position for the right family.
