About Bren

At age 16, I switched to online high school in order to be a full-time caretaker for my grandmother with dementia. The experience has since colored everything I do and I am eternally grateful I was able to make her last years fun, comfortable, and filled with love. Since her passing, I've gone on to pursue Biblical Studies at Sarah Lawrence College and have found that I missed that companionship and being able to care for someone in that way. I would love to use my experience with my grandmother to help others. I'd describe my personality as patient, soft-spoken, and optimistic I like caring for seniors because it gives me a chance to form friendships and have conversations I may not otherwise get to experience. I'm also someone who understands on a very personal level what the task calls for and am prepared to give one hundred and 10 percent.
