About Brenda

Hello! I've always loved working with children, and with three little siblings, four nieces and nephews, and lots of younger cousins, I've been helping care for children most of my life. I am also very comfortable with housework like cooking, cleaning, and laundry. I taught at a small private school for two years and worked with children ranging from first through twelfth grade, so helping with homework or assisting with remote learning is right down my alley. Most recently I provided reliable, structured after-school care for three elementary school children while pursuing a sociology degree at Friends University. Since graduating in May, I moved back to Hutchinson and work evening shifts at a small residential facility for teenage girls, so my availability is primarily mornings and early afternoons. I would love to meet you and your children and get started!
