About Brenda

Hello! I'm a full-time school social worker looking for a summer opportunity through July 27th. I have been working with children since I was 14 years old and am now 24. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Texas at Arlington and plan to take my licensing exam soon. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages, including approximately three years of nanny experience with children ages 2-4. Currently, I work at an elementary school serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade and also volunteer as a middle school youth leader. I'm also a huge animal lover! I had my sweet dog for 17 years before she passed away in 2024. Since then, I've helped care for my sister's two medium-sized Goldendoodles and am very comfortable around pets.
