About Brenda

After a fullfilling 20- year career as a science teacher in the CT Technical High School System, I am eager to do something rewarding in my post- retirement. I will bring my life experience to providing compassionate, dependable support to seniors in my community. Teaching for two decades taught me that meaningful care begins with patience, good communication, active listening and continued encouragement. My goal is to provide a supportive, comfortable environment that promotes independance and dignity. I am prepared to assist with other practical needs; *Mobility: with transitions, exercise, and maintaining a safe space. *Transportation & Errands: Providing rides to appointments, social groups, grocery shopping, etc. *Household: Preparing nutritious meals alighned with dietary needs, light housework and laundry. I hold a valid drivers lisence and a clean record. I am open to any background checks or safety certifications you require, such as taking a first aid and CPR course.
