About Braelyn

Hello! My name is Braelyn and I love helping kids develop & grow into beautiful people. I hope we're able to work together. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue my forestry & wildlife studies, while also providing me with fulfilling work. I started working with kids when I was 14; I became a live-in nanny for a family friend in Columbus while I was looking to get out of my town & wanted to make some money. I watched their 3 children (newborn, 2, & 5-year-old). I went back & Nannied for them the following summer as well. My skills include: - I am very good at calming kids down & getting on their level. Some children I've watched would get upset very easily & I was good at making them feel comfortable. - I love helping kids understand the world around them. I have helped with homework in the past. - I'm knowledgeable in childhood development, which has included: baby sign language, tummy time, & understanding the importance of play & learning (AWAY from screens).
