About Brad

Hello, I am a kindergarten teacher at Treasure Island Elementary. I just competed my first year teaching and it was fantastic. Looking for tutoring/child care opportunities this summer. I'd describe my personality as patient, problem solver, and kind. I like tutoring because I see the value in additional learning outside of school. I know that having a break from school is fun, but what isn't fun is going back to school and not being I started tutoring when I was a substitute teacher last year and another teacher asked me if I knew algebra. I told her that I passed calculus in high school, so I am comfortable with math. I tutored her son for a few months until they moved and no longer required my services. That was right before the school year, so I focused on teaching and did not tutor, since then. In my spare time, I like to ride my bike, read a good book, yoga, and get some sun. Walk my dogs and play with my cats. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I like to cook and clean as well.
