About Blake

Hello! My name is Blake and I am a certified teacher (Social Studies, grades 7-12) with 6 years of education experience working with students from elementary school all the way to college and adults. I have played guitar for almost 20 years and my goal is to provide a positive, structured, and creative learning environment for students to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of guitar, music theory, and a wide range of genres, including classical, rock, pop, blues, and jazz. Lessons are tailored to the needs and experience level of each student and also focus on building up skills like consistency, patience, and fortitude that students can apply to other aspects of their lives. Taking on a new challenge like learning guitar and finding the right teacher can be a daunting task, so I offer a free trial lesson to all students. I look forward to hearing from you!
