I had a pet sitting/dog walking business in Iowa for over 10 years. I have recently relocated to the Detroit area. I have worked with county humane societies as a foster parent for animals since 1989. I have worked for many people. I also have experience in a caring for a whole exotic animal farm for two weeks at a time! I have also cared fed Russian tortoise! I have been a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and also Pet Sitters International. I am certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR. I had my own non profit animal rescue in Iowa for many years and I am now involved in national animal rescue online work daily in addition to caring for my two rescue dogs and three rescue cats! I have many excellent references upon request. I have a degree in wellness from the University of Iowa and I keep up to date with all aspects of pet wellness including nutrition and dog/cat food information and recalls, behavior and alternative health for pets. I am a yoga instructor and I do kung fu to keep in shape.
