I am a stay at home mom to a sweet 15-month-old baby girl. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology and I am an advocate for the Montessori method in learning and play. I'm from Oregon but we are returning to the Springfield area for my husband's family. I have previous experience supervising children at a science museum, in an Outdoor School program, and through a teaching practicum. In these positions, I supervised groups of children in outdoor and indoor settings. I also nannied for a family of three children. I encourage learning through crafts, reading, projects/activities and overall fun. I have two pups at home with my daughter and we love to go on outdoor adventures to parks and on walks. I hope to help nanny for a child out of my home along with my daughter. I believe this would be an invaluable opportunity to allow both children to socialize and get the attention they need without being overlooked or undervalued as can often happen in a large busy center.
