Hi families. My name is Bette and I am looking for my next nanny job. I have lots of quality childcare experience and I am CPR certified. I was a preschool teacher for over 25 years and I have been a long-term nanny for several families. In addition to my professional experience I have three children of my own who are now all grown up. I am comfortable working with children of all ages and needs. I enjoy cooking, doing crafts, playing and spending time with my kids outdoors. I will use screens if it is your preference but I prefer to do hands-on activities and to play imagination games. I'm just completed a nanny job and I am looking for my next position. I am flexible with scheduling and can work with you on hours. In addition to the jobs I listed, I nannied for two other families full-time but I have not added them here yet as I still need to get their permission. Excellent references available. Bette has been watching my children since they were little babies and I trust her completely with them. She has many years of experience as a nursery school teacher, she raised three kids of her own and she is one of those people who just naturally loves children. In addition to being an excellent caregiver, Bette does really fun, creative screen-free activities like baking, making slime, drawing, painting, stickers, activity books, homework, crafts, holiday-themed activities, playing outside, etc. When my kids were babies, she'd be down on the floor doing floor play, as toddlers she engaged them and now as two preschoolers she incorporates all kinds of games with letters and numbers too. When I myself don't know what to do or expect as a mom (since I'm limited to my own experience and my oldest child is only 4.5 years old), Bette is the type of person I call for advice or help. Bette is trustworthy, kind and she has fun with my kids.
