Ever since I can remember, I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. In class, I would choose to do my projects on this career. I absolutely loved animals. My mother always explained to others that I was an animal lover. I was found helping a baby bird that had fallen or did dog watching for family and friends. My family has had a zoo-like house full of animals, too. From having tons of fish, to iguanas or newts, to hamsters or bunnies, etc. Just a few months back, we had to put down our 13-year-old rottweiler. That was most likely the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my entire life. However, I look forward to caring for any other animals that cross my path.
