I'm experienced in elderly companion care and with dementia. I can help with transportation, light housecleaning, dressing, transferring, tolieting, exercise, cooking, meal prep, and pet care. I have experience in healthy diets and can cook wholesome meals. I worked with an 84-year-old lady with dementia for 2 years, staying afternoons and overnights. I worked for her through all the stages of dementia and then through hospice care. I also stayed overnights caring for a 101-year-old man for about a year, and did day time companion care with a 94 yr old woman in an assistant living. I also helped extensively with my own mother who had dementia. In addition, have experience as a CNA working in a home for mentally and physically handicapped people as well as nursing homes. I'm also a licensed massage therapist of 27 years. I am certified in CPR.

Beth is my sister. While I am not reviewing a paid position she held, I would highly recommend her as a caregiver based on the excellent care she bestowed on our 96 year old grandmother for eight months when she fell and needed help with her rehabilitation. She also visits our mother, who has vascular dementia, and has gained experience and understanding on assisting with this disease. She is organized, strong, and thinks on her feet, and her kind and generous personality would make anyone a lovely companion.
