About Beth

For almost 3 decades, I've dedicated myself to nurturing young minds. From working with preschoolers during my college years at my local YMCA, to 22 years as a Maryland teacher of grades K-8, my passion stems from witnessing children's incredible growth and development. I hold a Bachelor's in ECE and my graduate degree as a reading specialist. I also have training with newborn safety as a newborn photographer. My approach is patient, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method. I am also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am trained in First Aid and CPR. As a certified teacher, I will bring a unique perspective to your children's care. I speak both English and know some basic Spanish. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your home!
