About Beth

I was raised by a professional pianist and piano teacher, and I have loved music and piano from an early age. I began playing piano at the age of 7, and in high school I began teaching private piano lessons. I won piano competitions while in school, and I accompanied the school choirs while in high school. In college I majored in Early Childhood Education, but took piano lessons for three semesters in college from a very talented piano teacher at my school. After graduating from college, I began teaching Preschool and Elementary Art and PE at a private school, where I also continued giving private piano lessons after school. I have taught children and teens from ages 5- 16, and I feel most comfortable teaching on the beginning and intermediate levels. I look forward to meeting you and helping you grow as a musician and piano player!
