About Beth

I am a retired teacher seeking part-time employment as a senior companion/caregiver. For the past three years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend a tremendous amount of time with my grandmother, who suffered from dementia/Alzheimer's disease until she passed away in November of this year at the age of 94. As a result, I have direct experience working with seniors who need a memory care 'companion'. I also have experience working with seniors as a volunteer. Although I am energetic, outgoing and talkative, I am also an excellent listener. One of my favorite things about working with seniors is having the opportunity to 'listen' to the personal stories and cherished memories that seniors often like to share. Because I truly enjoy spending time with seniors, I believe I am well-suited for a part-time position as a senior companion/caregiver.
