About Bethany

I am a civil rights lawyer with a passion for teaching others. I was a teaching assistant for over two hundred students during law school, helping students learn concepts and how to write and prepare for exams. I am happy to help teach all levels. I'd describe my personality as reliable, hard-working, and thoughtful. I like tutoring because I like to help others understand. Whether it be rephrasing a concept to make it more digestible, or assisting with study habits and test prep, I love to teach and help others learn. I'm looking for a job that lets me teach students and to encourage them to continue studying. I started tutoring when I was in law school. I was a teaching assistant and a research assistant for three semesters. I had over two hundred students who I helped learn concepts and prep for exams. In my spare time, I like to read, write, hike, thrift, make music, and bake. My skills include patience, encouragement, and adaptation.
