My name is Bethany, and by March of next year I'll have 15 years professional experience providing care and care management to seniors as a CNA, Death Doula, and Care Manager. I'm passionate about supporting people and providing care that's tailored to one's needs and desires, in all stages of abilities, so that they can live a full life of dignity and purpose. Everyone is unique and needs and wants different things. I enjoy learning what those are. End of life care is my passion; it is such an honor to be with family and loved ones during life transition. I also hold a high value of staying with people long-term. It takes time to build connection and rapport, and these are essential elements in quality care. I LOVE my work. Whether it's cooking a meal, advocating for your loved one at a doctor's appointment, or providing bedside care in one's last days --it's an honor and privilege to support people in need.

Bethany kept me from having to go into a home. Neighbors were starting to tell me I should sell the house I've lived in 38 years, and move my dog and I to a senior facility. They weren't completely wrong - I needed help. I wasn't able to care for myself or my dog the way I used to, and both of us were becoming less and less healthy, my home less safe….. I've had several health issues come up the last year, lots of doctor visits and unanswered questions that created this mess. Bethany came in as a care manager and caregiver, helped me make my home safe again, helped me eat healthy again, my dog get walked regularly and go to his vet appointments again.. and helped me find the answers I needed!! She coached me on how to make the doctors listen and give me the tests I'd been asking for! Answers to what's happening with my health -- here! I'm now managing my health very well, and I’m very happy to say that I get to still live in my home, safely -- the neighbors no longer tell me to move to a senior home. Sometimes it just takes one person who's willing to listen, take you seriously, and see the bigger picture. Thank you Bethany!!
