About Bethany

Hello! My name is Bethany and I am looking for tutoring positions that will help your child excel during the summer months. I taught 2nd grade in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years and am currently a Paraprofessional in a South Suburban district. I hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) and a Master of Education (M. Ed) in Elementary Education from University of Illinois - Chicago. I have experience with tutoring students with dyslexia and ADHD, as well as neurotypical children. I have taught Wilson Fundations, Wit & Wisdom, Japan Math, EL Education, and Open-Up Resources Math. I make learning fun and worthwhile - after all, I have to compete with summer!
