Hi! My name is Bethany and I am currently looking for a newborn care specialist position (overnight newborn care). I did full time nannying work for many years and miss partnering with new parents to transition their sweet newborns into their daily routines. By day I am a therapist and have my masters in counseling psychology. I am CPR certified and have experience with multiples, special needs, etc. I am looking for something between 16-32 hours.

My kids love Bethany. She has been very flexible when I have needed her last minute, she's been very dependable and always right on time, even if I'm not ready. 

Bethany was amazing with my five year old during a reception party. She kept her engaged, fed her, did coloring activities, danced and took her to the restroom. My daughter felt comfortable spending them time with Bethany. 
Not only did Bethany take care of my 5 year but she also took care of a 2 year old part of the time.
She was energetic, personable, knowledgeable about meds and overly a child lover.
If I am in the area I would definitely hire her again!!! Because of Bethany I had no worries and we (my husband and I) were able to enjoy the party. 

Bethany babysat for us for several nights in Carmel Valley. She was punctual, easy to communicate with and our girls had a great time with her.  

Bethany cared for our ~10 week old daughter in March 2015.  She was wonderful!  Bethany knew the five S's, infant CPR, and infant First Aid. She also kept our worries abated by texting us pictures of our daughter throughout the evening.  I highly recommend Bethany, especially for newborns!

Bethany was wonderful with our 2 and a half year old daughter.  She helped babysit in evenings for one week while we were visiting Carmel.  I thoroughly appreciated her knowledge of the "Love and Logic" parenting method and as a result, she was wonderful gaining my daughter's respect and giving her age appropriate choices.  Bethany quickly won over our daughter with her bedtime singing and love of reading books and being silly.  We appreciated her punctuality, her willingness to keep her schedule open for us, and her reliability.  We are so excited we found Bethany and will be keeping in touch with her so we can have her babysit again next year when we visit Carmel.  Thank you, Bethany!!

Bethany took care of my 18 month old son for 3 days while we were visiting Pebble Beach. Bethany did a great job and was very good with my son who warmed up to her quickly- he was sitting on her lap within 5 minutes reading a book.  She was very responsible about changing him, feeding him and putting him to sleep.  I was very comfortable leaving my son in Bethany's care and would hire her again!

Bethany came and watched my three children.  She was very sweet and the  kids really liked her. I would definitely hire her again.
