About Bethany

I first began babysitting at the age of 12 (crazy, I know!) and worked in a child care center throughout high school. While in college I continued to babysit frequently, and during summers spent my time teaching swimming lessons to children ages 3-14, including many children with various special needs. After graduating from college I was an Au pair in Istanbul, Turkey for 4 months for a 7-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy with Autism. I've also been a part-time nanny for a family with 3 children, including twin toddlers (one with special needs). I recently graduated from graduate school and am looking for part-time work while I complete hospital chaplaincy training. I have extensive experience with child care and have been responsible for children ranging from infants to teenagers. In past roles I have been responsible for meal prep, cleaning, tutoring, managing schedules, and just having fun! I am willing to renew CPR and First Aid certifications.
