About Bernarda

I work for a hospital as a Patient Care Technician, but I started as a Nursing Assistant; I worked for an home health agency for a short time taking care of an elderly lady. I prepared her dinner, light housekeeping, preparing her clothes for her to take a shower; after dinner we played cards; when the time permitted we went for a walk. In the hospital I enjoy taking care not only of the elderly, but also of children, young adults and elderly as well. I love doing it, because I love helping people, mainly when I wash a patient that has not been washed for couple of days, and when I do it and change the bed linen, they tell me they feel great and emotionally and physically much better. it touches my heart, because we are humans, and we have to have the same treatment for everybody.
