About Ben

Hi! My name is Ben, and I'm a music teacher/tutor in Brooklyn! I love working with kids, and I have 6 years of experience (2 years with children aged 4-6). I'm a firm believer in the power of positive emotional relationships with music, so my focus is always on showing kids how fun music can be. I'm a folk musician, so I focus a lot on ear training and singing to complement standard classical learning techniques like Suzuki. I play cello, violin (fiddle), and guitar at a professional level, and can teach beginning piano, as well as any plucked or bowed instrument!
