I home-schooled all three of my children from kindergarten through 12th grade and oversaw all basic subjects including math, English, history, geography, science, biblical studies. I also taught the following subjects art, communication, business management, British lit, American lit, Spanish, and drivers education. I have extensive experience in Elementary Math, Geometry, and Algebra I have helped other students through Highschool programs taught at home using programs such as Acellus and Alpha Omega. I have experience with mentoring/tutoring underclass studies in college and I am comfortable utilizing assigned curriculum or creating relevant curricula. Available for face to face teaching/tutoring/mentoring or for distance learning and a combination of both approaches.

There are not enough words to share my gratitude for all the assistance Ben provided to my son and family for the past two years tutoring my son with a learning difference. Ben has always been accessible during and even after tutoring hours, punctual, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Ben really connected with my son on his learning style and interests as a home school tutor. My son graduated 2 years ahead, was accepted to all of the colleges he applied to and offered numerous merit scholarships. Our family owes Ben so much for helping our son reach his goals and build his confidence to become an independent thinker and learner. There was no project too small or too great; no subject off limits. If Ben didn't have the answer he would research.
