About Benjamin

My name is Benjamin. I am 24 years old and grew up in a small town in Maine. I resided in Florida in '10-'11 while my Mom completed nursing school. I have three siblings. Family and I always find time to spend together and celebrate even when there is nothing to be celebrated. Family is a big reason I wanted to work in this profession. My parents have always been of service to others, and I wanted to follow in their footsteps. My Mom and Step Dad own an assisted living facility; prior to my Moms nursing career she worked as a family service advocate, for our local head start program. My Aunt owned and managed a daycare center out of her home when I was growing up. I spent many long weekends there. My Dad also owns a small business. Aside from my own family, I enjoy children myself. It is very special to be able to watch them grow and develop; as well as the bond you as the childcare provider form with them. I take great pride in knowing the difference I make in their lives.
