I'd describe my personality as compassionate, calm, and adaptable. I like caring for seniors because they teach me so much and they deserve our respect and help after the life they've lived. If it was my relative, I would want them to get the best possible care. That is how I have cared for all my clients over the years. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and allows me to use all the nursing skills I've gained to serve our seniors. I started caring for seniors 8 years ago when I got my first caregiving job, living with an elderly quadriplegic client. Since then, I have worked in nursing homes, at hospitals, and in the home, primarily with geriatric patients. I love it. In my spare time, I love to walk with my wife, play with our 2 kids, cook meals for them, and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is caregiving is not just what I do. It is who I am at my very core. My skills include medication management, companionship, and patience.
