About Benjamin

I have experience from my time as a math tutor in high school, as a YMCA counselor at Camp Warren, as a summer care instructor at Good Shepherd School, as a writing tutor at Emory University, and as a summer camp technology instructor with Tech Academy! I currently attend Emory University and am double majoring in Computer Science (BS) and Psychology & Linguistics (BA), entering my junior year. I've also taken a wide variety of courses in the humanities and social studies, and am highly proficient in writing and reading. As an educator, I place empathy at the center of any teaching relationship. It is important to understand that every student has unique wants, needs, challenges, and motivations! Using this understanding, I like to find what motivates a student the most, and to further develop a love of learning from this seed. My teaching style is flexible, and is mediated by the students' own preferences, as well as my recommendations!
