I am highly skilled in many areas, including bathing, personal care, skin care, diabetic foot care, range of motion exercises, assistance with ambulation, mobility, catheter care, Alzheimer's and dementia care, colostomy care, and etc. I feel that caring for others is my calling in life and I have never wanted to do anything else. I have worked in the nursing home setting but most of my career has been in home health, since 1998. For families of elderly or disabled patients, being a full-time caregiver is very difficult and takes away from the true family experience.
