About Bekah

My name is Bekah and I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas and Oklahoma for EC-8th grade! I am preparing to start my 5th year teaching and have taught 3rd, 4th and 6th grade! I am from San Antonio and a graduate of Texas A&M College Station. I am also in my last semester for obtaining my masters degree from A&M in educational psychology with a focus in creativity and cognition! I absolutely love working with children and being around pets! I also enjoy helping with things around the house/running errands if needed! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, attentive, and empathetic. I started working with kids when I was in high school by babysitting for family friends. I did student teaching during college and then taught my first year after graduating in 2020! I have taught a range of grade levels and all subjects, and have managed large class sizes as well as very diverse groups of students with diverse needs!
