About Beatriz

I'd describe my personality as patient, kind-hearted and reliable. I like working with kids because it gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact in their growth and development. It also reminds me the importance to slow down and remain present while witnessing their joy in exploring the world. I'm excited to offer my babysitting services to families seeking an extra pair of hands on evenings and weekdays. I started working with kids 20 years ago as a sitter/nanny and also as a teacher for 10 years teaching ESL. In my spare time, I enjoy reading self development and psychology books (and some occasional fiction). Taking care of my physical/mental health is one of my priorities - yoga, gym, walks and meditation. One thing you should know about me is I am patient to the core. No matter the situation, approach it with a calm demeanor, keeping in mind that each child has their own pace and needs. My skills include adaptability, organization and communication.
