About Beatrice

I have 30 years of experience caring for children as an RN - on the mother baby unit helping moms as they got to know their new babies, on pediatrics working nights with worried parents, in Children's Mercy's Integrative Pain Management Clinic working closely with psychologists who helped me learn and teach kids strategies to address stress management, sleep, headaches, GI distress, perfectionism, movement, self-confidence, and self-expression, and in the school nurse clinic sorting out kids' issues by including parents (by phone) and keeping order through kindness, clarity, respect for the child, and a touch of humor. I have also subbed as a teacher at Raintree Montessori School, have taught yoga to Raintree 7th and 8th graders, and am currently leading a Raintree lower elementary group in mindfulness activities and conversation - so much fun! I would love to meet your kids, go outdoors to play and explore, help with homework, do creative projects together, and always be curious :)
