I am a former Nanny and current Special Education teacher with 9+ years in the field who is looking to move from the classroom setting to offering an in-home approach. In my career as an Education Specialist for individuals with mild, moderate and severe disabilities, my main priority has been to advocate daily for my students and their families who are/have been affected by a disability(s). As a special education teacher, I possess a diverse range of skills essential for effectively supporting students with varying needs and abilities. I believe I have several qualities that make me a prime candidate for what you and your family are looking for, however, my primary objective is to continue to be a passionate educator who believes in infusing joy and excitement into the learning process for students who may require more support with learning educational/social concepts.
