About Barrie

I am a professional nanny with over 5 years of experience, from part time babysitting, to traveling the world as an au pair, to full time nannying. I have a passion for education and find the most fulfillment working one on one with children and seeing them learn and grow each and every day! Most of my experience is with toddlers and elementary children, however I am also experienced with infants and older kids. I started my childcare career working at summer camps, then got a job at a daycare. From there, I moved to Ireland to be an au pair for a summer in college. I studied Psychology, and use what I learned to help kids learn to process their emotions in a healthy, developmentally appropriate way. For the last 4 years, I have worked as a nanny for families in the Boulder area. This summer, I had the opportunity to work for a family in Germany! love planning fun activities and getting to know each child's unique personality. In my free time I like painting, Pilates, and reading.
