About Barbara

I have worked with children for over 30 years, whether it has been babysitting, a nanny, working in a childcare center and even raising my own children. I am currently first aide and CPR certified and attend early childhood trainings and seminars on a regular basis. I genuinely enjoy working and playing with infants and children. I believe that my job is to keep the children safe and to help encourage them to do things on their own. Making healthy snacks and meals is also part of what I expect to do when caring for children. I like to engage infants and children in activities, take walks, read stories, play outside, and bring my goody bag (crafts, games, and activities) when needed. I try to keep the house just as clean as when I arrive. I will do children's laundry when time permits. The family I was with previously, was 3 children I was with them for 3 yrs. I started when the twin boys were 3 their sister was a 3-month-old baby.
