About Barbara

II first worked as a nanny for a friend when I was much younger, have done many different jobs in my time, am a young 60, have raised 2 wonderful children, who are now adults and doing well, am actually roommating with one, as I recently divorced and am finding my feet here in Washington, came from California, and am loving this area! I have a full time job, which I have not been working over this past year, it has been a ride! I have been a Pre School Teacher Ass't. 3 different times for a Catholic Pre School, and once for a Creative Learning Center which was closed due to finances, 2008, RE crash. also was childcare for a womens shelter in Ventura, CA for almost one year, also worked in a pilot program for Women in Rehab. approx. 6 mos. in Northern CA (Red Bluff area) Where I was also preschool teacher asst. at the Catholic School. Tried to keep doing childcare, but it was not financially feasible in the area I lived in at the time. Also worked in Hospital and Nursing home kitchens.
