CNA for 20 years, worked with handicap, dementia, autistic. Moved here this summer from Maine to spend time with my 12 and 15-year-old granddaughters. Moved my mother in with me about 10 years ago. I am 71 years old and I feel the only way to approach getting older is to blend in. I also listened to a lot of stories from my grandfather over the years and realized how much l enjoyed them. I was born in California so I grew up with a lot of different minorities and the elders always invited me in the kitchen to cook. It is a feeling of being needed. I'm looking for a job that that will make me personally feel I am doing my part, I want to meet people In my spare time, I like to refurbish junk. Gardening is one of my biggest pleasures, when you I like old cars and will go out of my way just to look at a Ford. One thing you should know about me is I do not like ethnic jokes .
