As a former Early Childhood Educator I've worked as a preschool director, lead preschool teacher, assistant preschool teacher, and daycare provider. Additionally, I've worked as a nanny and "babysitter", have worked with and been trained to care for children with special needs, and have worked with elders and am able and happy to take jobs caring for them. As a single working mother, I understand that families oftentimes need help with household and miscellaneous items (especially if it relates to the children) and I am very willing to assist with housework like laundry, dishes, etc. My preference is to have a discussion and come to an agreement about any additional duties so that expectations are mutual. I do have a full time Monday-Friday job so I am only available for weekday evenings and some weekends.
