About Barbara

My name is Barbara, and I love working with and being around kids. For about 5 years I was a Sunday school teacher at my former church. I also sit for a close family friend on occasion. I have a passion for helping kids learn things like, art, reading and writing. I also have a lot of experience working with babies. I was a caregiver for children ranging in ages, as young a 3 months all the way to about 8-9 years old. I would love the ability to have a long term connection with a family and their child(ren). Some activities I enjoy doing with children are the following, reading, writing, arts & crafts, cooking, baking, movies, and games. The most important part about being a nanny to me is, honesty and communication with the parents of the child(ren) I help to look after. I don't have much experience working with a special needs child. The experience I do have is working with a child with autism.
