Prior to that, I ran a small independent bookstore in NYC and had my own business as an art dealer and consultant for 30 years. I have to say that my partner and I had the best experience working w/Barbara. She arrived a day or two before the scheduled visits to meet the pups and go along famously w/them. Before our meeting Barbara also forwarded me a couple of references which I checked out and a copy of her driver's license, standard practice for her, she told me. I felt very comfortable leaving our pets to Barbara's very capable care when I left for my trip. Each day I was away Barbara sent me photos of the dogs romping in the yards as well as text message updates on how they were doing. These daily messages were a huge relief, as receiving them allowed me to relax and enjoy my trip, knowing that my "kids" were in great hands. My partner and I are planning to resume skiing this winter and we will not hesitate to check in to see if Barbara will be free to sit with our dogs while we're away for the day. I offer a full-throated endorsement of Barbara's services. She's awesome!
