About Barbara

In 2008, my Mother had an aneurysm and lost her short-term memory. She was a self sufficient person before this. She now needed complete care and supervision. Fortunately, I was able to care for her until she passed in 2018. I helped with medication, meals, dressing, showering and recreation, she loved games. I know first hand how exhausting it is caring for a loved one, but also know you'll not regret it. I also know what it's like to worry about your loved one being cared for by someone else. I have an extreme soft spot in my heart for our elderly generation. I raised 3 boys of my own and one is in law enforcement. I enjoy sports of all kinds. I also have 5 Grandchildren, who I enjoy very much. I even play video games. So, I really can enjoy watching the younger folks too. I also love animals. I have dogs and a cat. I'm energetic, enjoy cleaning, cooking, and even the handyman things. Mostly, I enjoy talking, listening and laughing. Just trying to make the best of things.
