As a mature caregiver I have the life experiences to be able to communicate and earn the trust of my senior clients and their families, if they are part of the caregiver team. This is an important element to making this a successful working environment for all involved. With my experience and as a good listener I feel I can tailor each clients needs to best suit the needs of the client and their family. My last three clients were 98, 99 and 98-year-old ladies. All have passed since August of 2017. Some of my other clients have been both male and female with dementia, victims of strokes and cancer (Hospice clients) and course just "plain ole old age". I recently hired Barb to help take care of my parents while they are in their vacation home in northern Michigan. Barb has a enormous amount of experience as well as connections to other long-time caregivers. She is warm and thoughtful with my parents and well organized as well. I am enjoying working with Barb.
