11 years working as a Home Aide. Nine years with client who passed away June 30, 2016. Fixed and served meals, laundry, light housekeeping, and other personal needs. Made sure proper medicine taken at correct time. Take temperature, apply lotions, creams, dressings, blood sugar test, insulin shots, blood pressure and pulse. Some light physical therapy. At the Memory Care facility I basically did the same jobs as at a private residence. I also privately take a client to appointments, shopping, etc. Like working with seniors of which I am one and they seem to like older workers. I also like working with children. I was an in home daycare giver for 1 year and worked for a daycare center for 1 year. Five years and 10 months in assisted living and memory care facility. I occasionally do child care for my two great nieces whose children's ages range from 14 months to 7 years old.
