About Barbara

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a college degree and experience implementing Student accommodation plans (504), I specialize in supporting elementary students in Math, English, and Music & Drama. I believe every learner thrives when provided with a patient, engaging environment tailored to their specific needs. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to ensure concepts truly click. I keep learning exciting by connecting lessons to your personal interests and celebrating every milestone we reach together. Clear communication with families is a priority, as it ensures we are always aligned on your progress. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when your confidence begins to soar. I look forward to supporting your academic journey and helping you reach your goals.
