About Barbara

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I am a caregiver by nature and there is such a need. Caregiving in any capacity comes naturally to me. I like to think that the care I give to others is the same care I would give my mother if she were still here, and I loved my mom dearly. I raised 3 children who are all productive, competent adults. Additionally, my husband and I owned and operated a floor covering business. I'm looking for a part time job that utilizes my gifting as care giver and homemaker. I cook, value order and cleanliness, I get great pleasure in making someone's life easier and better by utilizing these skills. I started caring for seniors when my mother started showing signs of dementia in 2004. In 2009 I made caregiving my occupation as a CNA. My skills include patience, empathy, passion for the job, a good sense of humor and a good amount of common sense.
