Thank you for reading my CV! I have four years of experience as a live in nanny and housekeeper, and two years as a live out housekeeper and companion. I assisted a gentleman in his late 80's, an Auschwitz survivor with a missing lung and some missing hip bone and muscle. I took care of his housekeeping, errands, shopping, laundry, ironing, and cooking. Most importantly, I was his companion; he loved playing board games and telling stories from his life. Listening to him was easy, as he lived enough for two people and was very interesting. He did require patience though. Understandably, his war experiences changed him into a hard person. He left a lasting impression on me though, and not a week goes by without me thinking about one of his stories. I found working with him fulfilling and satisfying.
